As I stepped out of my car, the crisp Highland air filled my lungs, energizing me for the adventure that lay ahead. As the sun began to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the campsite, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to experience this incredible place. I couldn’t help but imagine myself returning in the colder months, snuggled up in a cozy cabin, listening to the calls of the local wildlife as I gazed out at the snow-capped peaks.
And, of course, no visit to the Loch Ness Shores campsite would be complete without a visit to the nearby vegan B&B, where I indulged in a delicious, locally-sourced meal and chatted with the friendly owners about the best hiking trails and wildlife-watching spots in the area.

As I reluctantly bid farewell to the Loch Ness Shores campsite, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and appreciation for the incredible natural wonders of the Scottish Highlands.
