As I pull up to the gates of Loch Ness Shores, I can hardly contain my excitement. These mischievous creatures are known for their love of raspberries, and I can’t resist the urge to leave out a few juicy ones to see if I can lure one close enough for a better look. As I wander deeper into the lush, ancient forests surrounding the campsite, the sound of drumming fills the air. A closer inspection reveals a flurry of activity at a nearby tree trunk, where a vibrant red squirrel is busy at work, its tiny claws tapping away as it forages for food. I’m amazed by the sheer energy and agility of these diminutive creatures, and I can’t help but feel a sense of kinship as I watch them dart through the branches, seemingly without a care in the world.
